About Nicole Roth

As a writer and a reader, I love to get to know new characters and get lost in their fictional worlds. I began writing when I was in fourth grade. From then on, I would steal moments to handwrite stories in the back of my school notebooks. I wrote adventure stories about my dog and about fierce warrior princesses.

 

Now, I write mostly about realistic character relationships and family dramas. I also work as a freelance writer and editor. ​I earned a BA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University, and I live in Illinois with my husband, a goofy dog, and a grumpy cat.
