About Nicole Roth

As a writer and a reader, I love to get to know new characters and get lost in their fictional worlds. I started writing when I was in fourth grade, which is when I wrote my first short story about my dog being a crime-fighting superhero. From then on, I would steal moments to handwrite stories in the back of my school notebooks. I usually wrote adventure stories about family secrets and fierce warrior princesses

 

Now, I write mostly about character relationships and family dramas, and I work professionally as a freelance writer and editor. ​I earned a BA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University. I live in Northern Illinois with my husband and our goofy dog and grumpy cat. Thanks for visiting my website! :)
